Started back in 2011 when our founder got tired of watching business owners lose everything over preventable liability issues. He was a CPA who kept seeing the same pattern: smart people building successful companies, then losing it all because they didn't have proper protection in place. So he decided to fix it. Built Shield Wealth Defense to be different from typical insurance brokers—more focused, more transparent, actually willing to explain things.
